Maliability and flexibility. The code is clean and simple. This template is very easily capable of supporting anything a web devoloper could want, including and especially PHP, JS, as well as SSI and XSSI. Even the color scheme can easily be changed, as can the logo and other graphics. Reasonable loading time. The graphics were created and optimized with both aesthetics and file size in mind. I, myself, still have 56K, and am very mindful of this. Easy navigation, easy edits. The menu system is all text and completely SSI friendly, but clear and easy to use. A happy setup for web developer and visitor alike! Several cool extras! This template comes with an all-set-to-go style sheet, a built-in favorite icon for people who bookmark the site, two custom cursors, and FIVE, count 'em FIVE 88x31 link buttons to link to CTV with! Carefully chosen color scheme. Although I've already pointed out that it can be changed, I considered the color scheme carefully. Turquoise, azure and aqua are the colors of the sea and sky, the colors of purity, clarity, simplicity, and especially freedom. These colors are also inviting, fresh, clean and relaxing.
This is completely coincidental... I just thought it was kind of cool.

Thanks very much! I'm glad you approve so heartily. I worked quite hard on it, so I've redone it in violet and indigo for another site of mine. I may use it with this palette for something else, though.
